Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-412 Weld Discrepancies in Reactor Vessel Support Structure Significant Deficiency 79-05 Gentlemen:
Our letter dated, January 4, 1980, stated that we planned to issue the final report on the Weld Discrepancies in Reactor Vessel Structural Support (Neutron Shield Tank) by April 18, 1980. Due to the amount of time required to develop the jig for taking boat samples in the area under question, we would like to extend the planned date for the issue of the final report to June 16, 1980. We feel this will allow sufficient time to take more samples, have them analyzed and resolve the reported def-ici scy.
