NRC MONTHLY OPERATING REPORT OPERATING
SUMMARY
- APRIL 1980 UNIT 1 The sit started the month operating at 100% Reactor Power. On the 7th of tne month, the unit tripped off line because of a loss of all off site power. This occurred because of the loss of all 500KV lines due to tornado damage. The unit returned to power operation on the 8th but was limited to load due to line damage across the state. On the 19th of the month Unit I was taken o'ff line to let ANO Unit II carry the load. Major outage work on Unit I consisted of Crystal River modifications, H.P. Turbine Steam seal repair, and the repair of LP-2-Turbine / Condenser expansion joint. The Unit was in cold shutdown the remainder of the month.
