i This refers to the Special Inspection conducted by Mr. D. G. Anderson of this office on September 25-28, 1979, of your facility at Lynchburg, Virginia, and to the discussions of our findings with members of your staff at the con-clusion of the inspection.
1 The main purpose of this inspection was to examine the measures which you have established for the reporting of defects and noncompliances under Part 21 of Title 10, Chapter 1, Code of Federal Regulations and to verify that these measures are being properly and effectively implemented.
The regional office has referred matters which may be considered for enforce-ment action to our headquarters office for their review.
They will correspond with you directly regarding those matters.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the Commission's " Rules of Practice, Part 2 Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter together with the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the Commission's Public Document Room.
If this report contains any information that you believe to be proprietary, it is necessary that you make a written application within thirty (30) days to this office to withhold such information from public dis-closure. Any such application must incl.ude a full statement of the reasons on 8 005210 / C
The Babcock & Wilcox Company the basis of which it is claimed that the information is proprietary, and should be prepared so that proprietary information identified in the appli-cation is contained in a separate part of the document.
