Dear Mr. Grier:
On April 28, 1980, afcer completion of a primary system dilution, an unplanned gas release took place at Connecticut Yankee.
This gas release was well within the Environmental Technical Specification limits.
Because it was unplanned it was reported in accordance with the NFC Regulations, Section 50.72.
This report is being made on an Information Only basis.
A written report containing a detailed description of the event is attached.
