- c. Beers TELEPHONE 617-366-9011 X2215 REPORT MONTH APRTT 1980 SU:-BIARY OF OPEPATING EXPERIENCES Highlights Vermont Yankee operated at 92.2% of rated thermal power for the month. Gross electrical generation was 362,493 MWH, or 93.2% of design electrical capacity.
Ooerating Summary The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent items of interest for the month:
4/1/80 At the beginning of the reporting period the plant was shutdown.
4/1/80 At 1650 hrs. a startup was commenced.
The reactor was critical at 1752 hrs.
4/2/80 At 1222 hrs. the turbine was phased onto the grid.
4/20/80 At 0100 hrs. power was reduced for Surveillance Testing and control rod adjustment.
4/27/80 At 0100 hrs. power was reduced for Surveillance Testing and control rod adjustment.
4/30/80 At the end of the reporting period the plant was at 99.9% rated thermal poaer.
