ORDER EXTENDING TIME FOR NRC STAFF TO RESPOND TO THE BOARD'S CLASS 9 INQUIRY For good cause shown, and in the absence of objection from other parties, the NRC staff's request of April 15, 1980 to ex-tend the time to respond to the board's Class 9 inquiry is granted.
The staff shall file its response by June 2, 1980.
(The requested date of June 1 is a Sunday.)
The April 18, 1980 response of Union of Concerned Scientists requests the board to provide now for an additional discovery schedule on the staff's Class 9 response.
The request is premature.
The board will discuss proposed changes in the timing of discovery requests, objections and substantive responses to discovery re-quests, motions to compel and answers to motions to compel at the prehearing conference of May 13, 1980.
