My associates and I are doing some research on the Three Mile Island accident.

We would appreciate your answers to some questions regarding the accident.

Are persons near A-plants aware of what could happen during a nuclear plant accident?

Can you briefly explain a melt-down, what causes it, and how it can be prevented?

Could I have your opinion whether we should continue to build more A-plants, or to close down existing A-plants Thank you for taking time to answer our questions regarding the Three Mile nuclear accident.
