SUMMARY

OF MARCH 25, SITE VISIT On March 25, 1980 we met with representatives of Detroit Edison Company and its contractors at the Fermi 2 site. The purpose of the visit was to view the piping systems in the plant. Special attention was given to the small diameter lines outside containment. The staff and its contractor, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will perform a confinnatory stress analysis of one or two of these lines after reviewing a set of isometric drawings to be provided by the applicant.

We also discussed the methods that the applicant used in seismically analyzing its piping.
