Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted during the period of March 4-6, 1980, it appears that certain of your activities were not con-ducted in full compliance with NRC regulations and the conditions of your License, R-126, as indicated below:
l.
Technical Specification 4.2.c requires that the control rods be visually inspected for deterioration at intervals not to exceed two years.
Contrary to the above, the control rods were not visually inspected for deterioration since March 1977, a period of three years.
This is an infraction.
2.
Technical Specification 4.3.6 requires that a channel calibration shall be made of the power level monitoring channels by either nuclear or calorimetric methods semiannually, but at intervals not to exceed eight months.
