Enclosed is a copy of the " Notice of Proposed Renewal of Facility License" which is being filed with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
The Notice relates to your application dated February 28, 1980, for a license l
amendment to renew Facility License No. R-71 for your Argonaut-type research
- reactor, The expiration date for this license is March 30, 1980. Since your app 1'ica-tion has been submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of your license, you have satisfied the requirements of 10 CFR Part 2, Section 2.109, entitled "Effect of Timely Renewal Application." Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.109, the existing license will not be deemed to have expired until the application has been finally determined.
If you have questions regarding this matter, please contact us.
Please advise us of which local official has been served with a copy of your application in accordance with the requirements of Section 2.101 of 10 CFR Part 2.
