.-j Per the staff's request, Reference 1 submitted additional information relating to the subject bulletin.
Subsequent discussions with the i
staff have necessitated that the District revise the response of Reference 1, page 2, Item 5.B.
Please consider this item to read as follows:
Seismic load combinations will be applied in either the x-y or z-y directions, separately, to determine the mar.imum condition with respect to the analysis for the concrete expansion anchor bolt loadings. This load combination is in accordance with the require-ments of paragraph 3.3.3.2 Piping Seismic Analysis of the Cooper Nuclear Station FSAR and the requirements of the bulletin wherein it states ".
it must be shown that piping supports for safety related systems, as defined in the FSAR, meet design requirements."
