United States of Americo Nuclear Regulatory Commission WW Before the Atomic Lafety and Licensing Board In the F.atter of 1..etropolitan Edison Company, Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 Docket 50-289 REQUEET OF BOARD FOR EXTENSION OF TIME FOR AAMODT DEPOSITION OF CG"MONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA Request is made of the Board for extension of the time for depositions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania previously requested to be taken prior to February 27, 1980.
We are only recently in re-ceipt of the Agricultural Emergency Plan (March 19, 1980), which is not a completed plan, but a draft.
Follow-up interrogatories on Responses to Sets One and Two, as well as Three when received, are needed as well as data promised in those Responses but not yet re-celved, in order to adequately prepare for depositions.
Need for depositions may narrow or disappear after receipt of complete responses o so.that time and money can be economized.
Karin W. Carter. Assistant Attorney General of the Commonwealth, has agreed to extension at your descretion.
Extension is, therefore, requested fo:: taking of these depositions until April 17, 1980, this b.eing based on the time interval for response to the First Set of Interrogatories, (Interrog-atories serviced February 20, 1980: Responses serviced March 19, 1980),
and the incompleteness of these responses.
Respectfully submitted,
