Dear Chairman Hendrie:
I teach twa courses in the area of science ard public policy to advanced honors students here at Indiana State University.
In prep-aration for the coming acadenic year in which I intend to include in each course a segment on the accident at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station,'it would be extremely helpful to have available official NRC documentation concerning the event. Would you please ask an appropriate mmber of your staff to send me one copy each of reports which are currently available concerning such matters as the chronology of events, analysis of the causes, radiation dose and health impact to the general population, and the sequence of actions taken to bring the situation under control.
If possible, I _would also appreciate having my name added to any mailing lists to receive subsequent reports dealing with this event. These reports will be used exclusively for preparation and research associated with the courses described above.
