Dear Mr. McCorkle:
This is to advise you of a maximum of fourteen (14) ship-ments of irradiated nuclear fuel elements from Chalk River, Ontario, Canada to DOE's Savannah River Plant in South Carolina, USA beginning on or shortly af ter March 28, 1980.
The present schedule is for a shipment to depart CRNL on each Friday, beginning on March 28th and continuing in each successive Friday until the series of shipments is complete.
The ETA at SRP is the following Monday for each shipment.
If you wish to be advised of exact departure times and/or ETA at destination after a given departure, please advise the undersigned.
The Cas.k has a US Department of Transportation Certificate No. USA /9103/B( )F, Revision 1, Package Identif cation is NLI-6502, and Tri-State Motor Transit Company, using Trailer No. 134004 will be the Common Carrier during transport.
The shipments will comply with AECB, CTC, NRC, and DOT regu-lations.
The US NRC approved route under 10 CFR 73, is as follows and is not to be disclosed to any unauthorized persons:
