Quality Assurance Plan in Accordance with 10CFR71 The Westinghouse Electric Corporation hereby transmits additional information regarding the Quality Assurance Plan submitted to the NRC in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR71 as requested by NRC letter dated October 9, 1979.
Regarding the Quality Assurance Program for the Nuclear Fuel Division, the correction revision of WCAP-7800 is SA which was accepted by the NRC on September 10, 1979.
Westinghouse therefore commits to using revision 5A to satisfy the requirements of 10CFR71 for the Nuclear Fuel Division.
At the present time, Westinghouse does not anticipate shipment of Normal Form material that would be subject to the requirements of 10CFR71.
The acceptability of the QA plan for Special Form Material is adequate for our present needs.
In the event such shipments are necessary in the future, Westinghouse will submit a more detailed program for NRC review.
