Dear Mr. Kepford:
By petitions dated April 27 and May 16, 1979, you requested pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206 that the Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation take certain action with respect to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit No. 2.
For the reasons stated in the enclosed " Director's Decision under 10 CFR 2.?06", your petition has been granted in part and denied in part.
A copy of this decision will be filed with the Secretary for the Conniission's review in accordance with 10 CFR 2.206(c). A copy of the notice that will be published in the Federal Register is also enclosed.
