Notice of Meeting
'Ihe ACRS Subcommittee on Reliability and Probabilistic Assessment will hold an open me: ting on February 6, 1980, in Room 1046, 1717 H St., N.W., Washington, DC 20555.
'Ihe agenda for subject meeting shall be as follows:
Wednesday, February 6, 1980 8:30 a.m. until the cenclusion of business.
Tne Subcommittee will meet in executive session with its consultants and fellows to explore and exchange opinions regarding the topics being discussed. 'Ihe Subcom-mittee will also hear some brief presentations and hold discussions with representa-tives of the NRC Staff. ':he following topics will be discussed:
1.
Consistency of actual component failure experience with that projected in WASH-1400.
2.
Probabilities of the Sep. 24, 1977 Davis Besse and the March 20, 1978 Rancho Seco events using BASH-1400 methodology.
3.
Risk comparison of nuclear plants with other methods of electricity generation.
4.
Quantitative safety goals for nuclear power plants.
