RIVER BEND STATI0t4 - UIET 1 DOCKET 10. 50-458 As requested in your letter of Decanber 13, 1979, enclosed are copies of Pittsburgh Testing laboratory (PIL) Report n.nbers 800985 and 800936 for fine and coarse aggregates respectively.
Both reports show the four month results of the ASHI C227 cortar bar test being performed using high alkali ccnent samples.
'Ihe four month results, recorded as an average length change percent, are +0.02 and M.02 for fine and coarse aggregates respectively and are well within the acceptance limits of M.05 for 3-month and +0.10 for 6-month test durations.
'Ihe 5-month results are scheduled to be completed March 19, 1980.
We will transmit those results to you as soon as we receive then.
