Dear Mr. Ballard:

Reference (a) requested Commonwealth Edison Company to provide additional information regarding the Carroll County

. Station Site Suitability Environmental Report (SSER) and the Site Suitability Site Safety Report (SSSSR). As discussed with Mr. C.

A. Haupt of your Staff, Commonwealth Edison will require an additional 45 days to adequately address the requests contained in Enclosures 1 and 2 of Reference (a). As such, Commonwealth Edison will submit responses to the requested information by May 15, 1980.

Please address any questions that you might have concerning this matter to this office.
