Dear Sir:

Sub ject: Clarification of Maine Yankee Commitment for Training Schedule Covering NRC and DOT Requirements Reference (c) responded to the requirements of Reference (b) stating that training for packaging and transport of radioactive materials is provided for employees inve'ved in these areas.

Reference (d) requested clarification as to when the program would be fully implemented including the record system addressed in Reference (c).

The training program necessary to comply with IE Bulletin No. 79-19 is presently underway and will be fully implemented, including its training record system, by July 1980.
