Dear Mr. Ziemann:
Your letter of February 14, 1980 reported the results of the NRC-sponsored vital area analysis for Ginna Station.
It was suggested that modifications of the Ginna Security Plan might be required as a result of r.he review.
Our review of the results of this program has led to certain changes in the Security Plan.
These changes reflect physical tsodifi-cations which will be made in the plant.
Revised pages for our Security Plan are presented in Attachment A to this letter, however, they will not be distributed to planholders until the plant modifications have been made. Attachment B describes each of the changes being implemented.
The changes in the Plan have been reviewed by the Plant Operations Review Committee and by the Nuclear Safety Audit and Review Board pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p), and it has been determined that these changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the Plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.790(d), it is expected that this information will be withheld from public disclosure.
