Dear Sir:
Our reply to your letters, Reference (b and c) requesting confirmation that information provided to you on our behalf by CE regarding the accuracy of fuel clad swel'.ing and rupture evaluations was written on January 7, 1980.
However, a review of in-house records, followed by discussions with ydur staff, indicate that this letter was probably not submitted.
Similar letters transmitted on behalf of other Yankee plants apparently lead to the assumption that the Maine Yankee letter had indeed been submitted.
We wish to correct this oversight at this time by submitting the enclosed January 7, letter. We are not aware of any inconvenience to your staff as a result of this delay. We trust this information is satisfactory; h owever, if you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
