As we discussed this morning, I am enclosing under separate cover two groups of documents that are being pro-duced in response to Interrogatory No. 8(d) of the NRC Staff's First Set of Interrogatories to Houston Lighting &
Power Company.
As I described to you on the telephone, these documents are either reproduced from, or make refer-ence to, HL&P's corporate study.
HL&P regards many portions of the corporate study as highly confidential business nformation.
We have agreed that you will review tne enclosed excerpts from the corporate study and determine whether any further examination of the study is required for your purposes.
We have further agreed that if you do decide that you need to make a further examination of the study'then we will work

out an arrangement to protect the confidential portions of the study.
