CD Docket Nos. 50-354 and 50-355

Dear Ms Bishop:

As requested by the Appeal Board in an Order dated January 21, 1980, the Intervenors in the Three Mile Island, Unit 2 (Docket No. 50-320) and the Peach Bottom, Units 2&3 (Docket Nos. 50-277 and 50-278) proceedings will be represented by Dr. Chauncey Xepford.

In the radon-222 proceedings, these Intervenors will not be presenting any witnesses. The pressures of other proceedings have made it impossible to be able to do the necessary background work to prepare a coherent testimony.

In the aircraft crash proceeding, the Intervenors will present Dr. Judith H.

Jonnsrud, who will testify about a recent flight over the TMI site.

In addition, the Intervenors may be in a position to ask that this Appeal Board issue a subpoena for a TWA pilot who has flown Boeing 707s into Harrisburg International Airport by flying over the TMI site. We expect to know whether or not this request for a subpoena will be made by Feb. 20, 1980.

In any event, the Intervenors will advise the Appeal Board by telephone on that date.

Yours sincerely v
