December 17,19'9 MEMORANDUM FOR: Mitchell Rogovin, Director, SIG FROM:
David Evans
SUBJECT:
ALLAN SCHULTZ MEETING As I mentioned to you last week, Allan Schultz is planning to come to Arlington Road to " cross examine" us on the current draft o# the
" Incentives to Commercial Operation" section of the report.
I believe what Mr. Schultz has in mind is a session in which he plays " devil's advocate" and raises questions regarding our draft.
It would seem to me that this type of session might prove very useful to you or another member of your staff who might be answering similar questions from the Comission, the Congress or members of the public in a short while.
Mr. Schultz is now planning to be in Bethesda the mo'rning of December 21 (Friday). A full day meeting is expected.
If there is any additional infor-mation you need, please contact me.
On another matter, I thought I would inform you that I have given notice of my resignation from the NRC to E. Kevin Cornell, effective December 28.
Beginning January 2,1980, I will be joining the Washington office of the firm of Andrews, Kurth, Campbell and Jones (Houston, Texas).
I wanted you to know that it has been a pleasure working with you, George, and the other personnel of this Inquiry.
It has been a satisfying and rewarding experience for me, and I wish you all the best in a successful completion.
Before my departure on the 28th, all of my assignments will be complete, s
