North River Road RD 11 i

York, PA 17406 This letter is actually being written fram Philadelphia because North River Road is 10 miles fran Three Mile Island--on the Susquehanna River and I haven't been home for a week now. My cat is having kittens which I do not expect to l

find alive when I get back but I did not think it judicious to move her under the conditions.

Will I have a home to go back to? Or will the radiation make the entire area uninhabitable? It is beautiful there-and this past weekend should have been used for getting the boats out and enjoying the weather and the scenery-not 4

for being glued to the radio and TV set listening for news of impending disaster.

If the problem is solved and if we survive this near disaster, I hope that the lesson will be learned that nuclear reactors are dangerous, unknown, and that we must do without them.

I demand that Three Mile Island never be started up again and that other nuclear plants be shut down as soon as is possible.

Sincerely,

. R Annette Logan, Ed..
