B&W concurs with temporarily limiting reactor power below 100% FP by one percent power for each one percent flow deficiency (z.s indicated by the current secondary heat balance) below the minimum acceptable flow required by the Technical Specifications,plus an additional one percent for conser-vatism. The overpower trip setpoint should be reduced by an identical amount.
This is based on engineering judgment derived fr'om analysis of similar plants.
B&W feels that operation under this limit will assure safe operation of

TMI-2.
