20555 Attn: Harold R. Denton, Director

Subject:

N.R.C. Construction Freeze Gentlemen, Since a typical reactor replaces about 10 million barrels of oil a vear, these nuclear racilities nay very well be the only way we can replace the energy lost because of the Iranian crisis.

We should cert inly learn from the T.M.I. mishap; but a total freeze is ill-conceived and should be rescinded imediately.
