Dear Sir:

I appreciate very much your efforts to insure safety in all nuclear electrical production.

I believe we can achieve safety without a moratorium on all licensing, however. We Americans have always been guilty of letting problems go too far, and then over reacting to solve the problem.

We have learned some valuable lessons on nuclear energy and we should put these lessons to use in productions of electrical power. With the world situation as it is, we simply cannot turn our backs on any alternate source of energy.

I urge you to lift the moratorium on the licensing of nuclear power stations at once, and continue your efforts to insure their safety.

Respectfully, C. L. SHERMAN &iSONS ir ills' C. L. SHERMAN, JR.
