Thank you for sending me the listing of Babcox &
Wilcox reactors in service and in the construction /
planning stages.
Is a similar listing available of other reactors also in the construction / planning stage?
Data on percentage of generation mix that is nuclear (by yer:)
is not usually accompanied by that information, yet in-vestors (whose reactions we're trying to model) would have access to that information--which we would expect to affect stock market valuations in the pcst Three Mile Island era.
We would certainly be willing to compensate your department to obtain listings of minor owners, since our empirical results should take them into account for completeness.
Also the University of Florida is missing several of the annual FPC reports which contain the historical data on percentage of generation mix which is nuclear.
If you are aware of another convenient source, please let me know.
I appreciate your assistance to date, and I hope that Professor Pettway's study will be useful to you (the basic methodology is in his Bell Journal of Economics article, Spring 1978).
