M. S. Turbak letter to J. G. Keppler dated March 20, 1978.
Dear Mr. Keppler:
4 Reference (a) indicated that b'ased on projected' delivery dates of the ifVAC equipment we anticipated completion of the Dresden Unit 1 solid waste handling system in the last quarter of 1978.
The structural work and installation of pumps, piping, and instrumentation are completed, pre-opgrational testing is currently underway and expected to be finished by the end of December, 1978.
At this time, the liVAC control panel has not been delivered.
The control panel delivery date to the site is now expected the week of January 15, 1979.
Therefore, pumps and related instrumentation will be operational by the end of the year.
Ilowever, the Solid Waste liandling System will be operable in the first quarter of 1979 when the IIVAC equipment becomes operable.
