This is to advise that pursuant to the Commissioner's invi-tation in its December 8 Order, the Atomic Industrial Forum may file a brief in support of the applicant in the instant proceeding, opposing the decision in ALAB-489.
It is neces-sary for AIF's Executive Commit tee to approve our brief, and action has been scheduled for the Committee 's next meeting on January 3, 1979.
Filing, if approved, would occur immed-iately after that date.
We note that such a filing would be timely for Commission con-sideration, inasmuch as it would be received prior to the close of the announced briefing schedule, and hope there fore that it would be considered despite our inability to comply with the Commission's formal deadline.
