RESPONSE TO ITEM 1 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1, 2, AND 3-(DOCKET NOS. 50-259, -260, -296)

Item 1 Within three days from the date of this bulletin, perform surveillance tests to verify that there is no significant amount of water in the scram the SDV vent valves discharge volume (SDV) and associated piping and that are operable and vent system is free of obstruction.

Response

There is no signifi~ cant amount of water in the discharge volume 1.
