Dear Messrs. Williams and Miller:
Thank you for your invitation to speak at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law.
I would like to come and speak on the Cordell Hull Speakers Forum program, but my fall schedule is beginning to look overloaded.
I have travel and Comission commitments that occupy all of September and October, and some tentative meetings in November. There is a chance that I could come in the first part of November, but it is a little early to make a definite commitment.
Why don't you list me as a possible speaker for November--the 13th would be best as far as I can see now--and keep m,e in mind for the spring semester if that doesn't work out.
I will let you know definitely about the November date as soon as rqy plans for that period become firm.
In the meantime, don't hesitate to bock that week for someone else.
I can always come later.
