Dear Mr. Hunt:
l This is in reference to your license application XCOM0309 for thd export of four sets of Personnel Air Locks to South Africa for use in the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. Effective June 25, 1980, the U.S. Department of Comerce assumed export licensing authority over such items. Attached is a nota explaining this change in greater detail. A copy of your export license application file has been forwarded to the Commerce Department; however, Comerce regulations require that you also complete a Comerce export license application fonn and Comerce ITA-629 form " Statement by Ultimate Consignee and Purchaser". To facilitate this process, we are enclosing these forms for you to complete and return to the Comerce Department.
