This is in reference to your license application XC0f t0379 for the export of an In-Service Inspection System to South Africa for use in the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. Effective June 25, 1980, the U.S. Department of Comerce assumed export licensing authority over such itens. Attached is a note explaining this change in greater dettil. A copy of your export license application file has been forwarded to the Comerce Department; however, Ccrerce regulations require that you also complete a Comerce exoort license application form and Comerce ITA-629 form " Statement by Ultimate Consignes and Purchases".
