Dear Ms. Eisenfeld:
Mr. Eisenhut has referred your card concerning the construction of the Limerick Generating Station to me for a response.
The NRC welcomes letters concerning the construction and operation of Nuclear Power Plants and facilities. These letters are reviewed and, along with others, are given consideration in our environmental and safety reviews.
At the present time, the Limerick Generating Station is not under active review.
Such a review will begin at the time that Philadelphia Electric submits its application for an operating license. This is not expected to occur until late this year or early next year.
Your card will be kept on file and referred to again when the operating license review is initiated.
