Dear Chairman and Members of the Board:

The discovery schedule approved by the Board at the March 5, 1980, prehearing conference provides for responses to outstanding discovery requests by Intervenor Florida Cities (Cities) and Applicant Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) to be completed by July 18, 1980. FPL has completed its production of documents, and review of documents made avail-able by the Cities will be completed shortly.

Cities and FPL have agreed to extend the final date for answers to interrogatories for sixty (60) days until September 16, 1980. The Staff and the Department of Justice have author-ized the undersigned counsel to state that they have no objection to this extension. Cities and FPL respectfully request the Board's approval of this agreement.
