Dear Mr. Murphy:
This is in reference to your ifcense application XCOM0397 for the export of a Waste Gas Management Treatment' System to South Africa for use in the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. Effective June 25, 1980, the U.S. Department of Comerce assumed export licensing authority over such items.. Attached is a note explaining this change in greater detail. A copy of your export license apolication file has been forwarded to the Comerce Department; however, Comerce mgulations require that you also complete a Commerce export license applicatic fom and Comerce ITA-629 fpm " Statement by Ultimate Consignee and Purchaser". To facilitate this process, we are enclosing these foms for you to complete and return to the Commerce Department. Be certain to include n on the documents Comerce Control Comodity Number 43638:(d).
