This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of April 30, 1960, pertaining to Docket Nos. 50-498 and 50-499.

Substantial progress has already been made in responding to the Notice of Violation and in preparation of the answer to the Notice of Proposed imposition of Civil Penalties. These Rems, as well as the answer provided for in Section VI of the Order to Show Cause will be submitted within the periods specified in the Commission's Notice and Orders.

We are confide; t that a complete response to Section V of the Order to Show Cause will be submitted within the specified period.
