February 6, 1980, which transmitted IE Bulletin No. 80-03.
The subject Bulletin requested each plant to determine if charcoal tray absorber cells in use, or proposed for use, have a potential for loss of charcoal, and to take the appropriate actions.
Humboldt Bay Power Plant has no such charcoal tray absorber cells in use at this time.
If at some future time charccal tray filters are added to the plant, then the receipt inspec-tions of these filters will include a visual inspection for screen / casing separation and inadequate rivet spacing.
