Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION
- Commonwealth Edison Company Docket No.50-010 Docket No. 50-249 Based on the inspection conducted on May 5-29, 1980, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements as noted below. This item is a deficiency.
Technical Specifications, Section 6.6.B.1 requires that prompt reportable events be reported to the NRC within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> and confirmed by telegraph, mailgram, or facsimile transmission to the Director of the appropriate regional office no later than the first working day following the event.
Contrary to the above, prompt reportable events occurred or April 5, 1980, at Unit 1 and on February 2, and April 2, 1980, at Unit 3, which the licensee properly reported to the NRC via telephone within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />, but did not provide the regional office with the required telegram, mailgram, or facsimile confirming the event.
