Gentlemen:

In accordance with the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's Order of June 13, 1980, Tex-La Electric Cooperative of Texas, Inc. (" Tex-La"), hereby respectfully submits its status report on settlement progress since the last prehearing conference held on June 10, 1980.

During the past month, Tex-La and Texas Power and Light Company ("TP&L") have exchanged drafts of the Modification of the Joint Ownership Agreement regarding th Comanche Peak Project as well as the Entitlement Assignment Contract between TP&L and Tex-La. Draft:3 of the Power Supply Agreement and Transmission Agreement will be exchanged within the next two weeks.
