I have enclosed a letter I recently received from one of my constituents, Mr. Wendell H. Starshall, concerning a request we made back in October of 1979 for information on the Midland Nuclear Power plant.
He has of yet not received a response, and I also have no record of a reply answering his questions.
If you did answer his original concerns, would you please forward to me another copy of that reply.
If you have not responded, I would greatly appreciate it if yo.t would.
I have enclosed another copy of his original request as well as my letter to you of October 23, 1979.

Dear Mr. Albosta:
On the 23rd of October, 1979, you wrote a letter to Mr. Harold R. Denton, Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, in Washington, pointing out
- hat on the 12th of September, 1979, your constituent, myself, wrote a letter to Mr. Denton pointing out the serious situation in the sinking of the Diesel Building and serious cracks in other buildings at the nuclear power plant under construction in Mid-land, MI.
In that letter you requested that you would appreciate a copy of any letter you may have sent him in response and an up-to-date summary of the situation to which you referred.
I would appre-ciate knowing if you have received anything from Mr. Denton.
I would, also, appreciate any information you may have concerning how the Nuclear Regulacory Commission is going to prevent the further sinking of that bui. ding and other serious discrepanies in the construction that has been pointed out in the press recently.
I will appreciate your assistance.
