This is to advise the Board that representatives of the NRC Staff, Licensee and the several petitioners seeking to intervene in the above-captioned matter met on July 11, 1980 to discuss contentions advanced by the peti-tieners. Considerable progress was made toward reaching an understanding on the contentions and informal resolution of some or all contentions may
.be achievable. The participants have arranged to meet again on August 18, 1980 in furtherance of this objective.
Scheduling constraints prevent a prior group meeting though individual discussions will continue in the in-terim. The Staff will inform the Board of the concrete results of these efforts following the August 18 meeting.
