This objective is derived from Section II.C.3 of the Action Plan in NUREG-0660.

The systems interaction evaluation for the Diablo Canyon plant is part of this program and is specifically described in Secticn II.C.3 of the Action Plan.

Objective The objective of this project is to assist the NRC staff in its evaluation, and

-' walk-through" audit of the Diablo Canyon olant regarding the possibility of detrimental seismically-induced interactions between safety-related equipment and non-seismically qualified equipment.

Work Reouirements Estimated Level of Effect estimated at 0.2 man-years for FY '80.

Projected Comoletion Date Task 1.

Review of applicant's submittals July 7,1980 (currently these are dated v y 7 &

a 27, 1980; and June 10,1980).

c

- Task 4 Attend September 1980 ACRS meeting on this September 30, 1980 review of the Diablo Canyon systems interaction evaluation.

Total Level of Effort and Period of Performance Approximately 0.2 man-years will be needed in FY '80, over a 3 month period (July 1, 1980 to September 30,1980).

Reoortino Recuirements l.

At the comoletion of tais project, provide a letter report summarizing the assistance provided to.'IPC to the cognizant Branch Chief.
