Atlanta, Georgia 30309

Dear Mr. Warner:

I am writing this letter to correct a serious oversight on our part in not recognizing your efforts in responding to the Three Mile Island accident last year. It was gratifying to have the excellent communications capabilities of the Fire Cache immediately made available to support the NRC's response.

Individuals working at TMI have had nothing but praise for the competence, enthusiasm and professionalism of the individuals who responded to our request.

There is little which we can do for you and the other individuals except to express our appreciation for your outstanding contributions and provide you with the enclosed certificate recognizing your valuable assistance during that critical time.

We appreciate your Agency's support and your personal contributions and sacrifices. I apologize for the delay in recognizing your efforts and those of other individuals who responded to our request.

Sincerely,

/
