l This is in further response to your letter dated June 16, 1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of In ormation Act, records r
pertaining to five categories of information with mgard to the proposed Fire Protection Rule.
By letter dated June 27, 1980, we provided information concerning four of the five categories and advised that search was still underway for identification of records relati.ng to item 3 of your request.
The search has now been completed and all but five documents relating to, Item 3 of your request have been cleared for release and were placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) located at 1717 H Street, N.W.,
Washington, DC 20555. They are identified in the enclosed Appendix.
The remaining documents are undergoing review and you will be advised as soon as the review has been completed.

- Liberman requests copies of all documents prepared by the NRC,T its Staff and consultants relative to the following:

The environmental impact of the proposed regu-lations regarding the Fire Protection Program for Nuclear Power Plants Operating Prior to January 1, 1979.
See 45 Fed. Reg. 36082, May 29, 1980);
2.
Preparation of the Value Impact Statement re-garding the aforementioned proposed regulations; 3.
Communications with the ACRS related to BTP 9.5-1, (including attachment A thereto), or the aforementioned proposed regulations; 4.
The basis or supporting rational for the re-quirentents contained in the aforementioned proposed regulations; and 5.
The bases for the implementation schedule (and any surveys in support thereof) of the'af re-mentioned proposed regulations.
Such do :uments should include any draf ts, supporting material, studies, or other such reports, correspondence, testimony, re-garding the aforementioned areas of interest.
