On June 18, 1980, we responded to the referenced IE Bulletin i
regarding Hydramotor Actuator Deficiencies.
Infor=ation received 4
subsequent to our response indicates that it should be supplemented 6
with the follcwing, additicnal information.
Litton Industrial Products, Inc. (Contramatics Division) and Fisher Controls Co., Inc. are also supplying ITT General Controls Model NH-90 Series Hydra:utor Actuators.
ITI General Controls has confir=ed that the actuators being supplied by Litton Industrial Products, Inc. utilize No. 2 springs and, therefore, have no possibility of being fabricated frcm incorrect material.
ITI General Controls has also confirmed that the actuators being supplied by Fisher Controls have spring forces below the reduced rating for the No. I springs and, therefore, are not undersized for their intended use.

a U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Co= mission July 3, 1980 Based on the above information and information reported in our earlier response, we have determined that the deficiencies identified in IE Bulletin No. 80-09 will not affect the performance of any valves at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant.
