REPROCESSING RETRANSFER FROM SPAIN (ZORITA) TO THE U.K.
Purpose:
To infonn the Commission of the subject proposed retransfer.

Review Date:
The NRC consultation period expires _ July 10.
Discussion:
Attached, for the advance information of the Commission, is a copy of a request to retransfer U.S.-origin spent fuel from Spain to the U.K. for reprocessing. This request was received in IP on June CO.
The staff is preparing its analysis of this case and will forward it to the Comission shortly.
